Download and install Kingo Android Root. You can download the program here: http://www.kingoapp.com/

Check for compatibility. See first if your device is compatible with the rooting program. Devices such as Google Nexus 4, HTC 920E, HTC One, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are compatible, while the Huawei Ascend and the Samsung Galaxy Curve are not compatible.

Enable USB debugging.
- Go to Settings, then select ‘About Phone’; this should be at the bottom part of the settings page.
- Tap ‘Developer Options’ among the options available in this page, then finally, tick the box of USB debugging.

Run Android Root. Simply execute the program from your PC by clicking on the Kingo Android Root icon.

Connect your device to the PC. Attach one end of the data cable to your device, and the other end to your PC. After a few moments, the program should be able to detect your phone.

Click Root. Simply click the ‘Root’ button at the bottom of the program screen to start the rooting process. Sit back and just wait until the process finishes.
