Nokia Lumia 520 WiFi Problem Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 WiFi problem does not normally occur. WiFi is the technology that mobile phones use to connect to the internet. In Nokia Lumia 520 there is a WiFi antenna which connects to the antenna connector on the motherboard of the mobile phone. Sometimes because of extreme pressure on the mobile phone or if the mobile is dropped it can get damaged.
There is not a lot to explain here, I have marked the antenna connector ways in the diagram below. So if by any chance your Nokia Lumia 520’s WiFi antenna prints are damaged make those jumpers and hopefully your phone will get WiFi signals again.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Battery Connector Ways Jumpers

In this post you will find solution for damaged Nokia Lumia 520 battery connector. Battery connectors in these phones are soldered on to the motherboard and some times get damaged if the mobile phone is mishandled.
If a leg or two of the connector is broken just replace the whole battery connector with a new one. If the prints of the Nokia Lumia 520 battery connector are broken then you need to make the jumpers to the connecting points as shown in the diagram below.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Volume Keys Ways Problem Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 volume keys are on the right side of the mobile phone, they are used to control the volume like while listening to the music or during a phone call. Volume keys like power buttons are soldered on the motherboard and can easily be damaged if the user puts too much pressure on them.
If that happens sometimes the prints on which the volume keys are soldered on also get damaged. I have marked all the Nokia Lumia 520 volume keys ways in the diagram below. Just make the jumper from which the prints are damaged to the points marked in the diagram and you will be good to go.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Rumble Problem Ways Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 rumble motor or vibration motor is soldered on the back of the motherboard which makes it pretty safe and it does not usually get damaged. It is responsible for making vibrations in our mobile phones.
If by any chance it does gets damaged I have marked its jumper ways in the next diagram. There are only two jumpers for it like most of the speaker and earphones. The solution is pretty self explanatory, make the jumpers if a print is broken and hopefully your phone will start to vibrate again.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.
Here are Nokia Lumia 520 vibration motor jumper ways. Please study these diagrams very carefully before you start repairing.

Nokia Lumia 520 Power Button Ways Jumpers

In Nokia Lumia 520 power button is soldered on the motherboard just like the volume keys. Power button is used to turn on and off your mobile phone and is placed on the right side of the mobile phone just below the volume keys. It is almost a fragile part because using it roughly can damaged it and if that happens there is good chance that the prints below the power button might also get damaged.
So if your Nokia Lumia 520 power button is not working to repair it you just need to replace it with a new one. If the prints of the button are damaged then you are going to have to make the jumpers as shown in the diagram.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Headphone Problem Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 headphone connector is placed separately and connects to the motherboard with a small flex cable and a connection pad. Most of the mobile phones have their headphone jackets soldered to their motherboards unlike Lumia 520.
This makes replacing the headphone jack really easy, all you have to do is take the older one out and put the new AV Jack and you are done. However if that isn’t working or your AV Jack connector is damaged somehow I have marked all of it’s jumper ways in this diagram.
Here are Nokia Lumia 520 headphone connector jumper ways. Please study these diagrams very carefully before you start repairing.

Nokia Lumia 520 MMC Problem Solution

In this post Nokia Lumia 520 memory card problem will be hopefully solved. In this phone memory card jack is placed just above the SIM card jack. It is where you put the external memory cards to use with your mobile phone.
There is not a lot to explain in this diagram. If the external memory card is not being read in your Nokia Lumia 520 make sure your memory card is not faulty. If the memory card is okay then you should clean the MMC jack marked with red box in the diagram. If the MMC jacket is in good condition and your are still having this problem then you need to change the MMC IC which is marked with green line.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Led Lights Problem Solution

Normally you don’t see Nokia Lumia 520 led lights problems. In these smartphones led lights are placed inside the LCD so unless the LCD is damaged itself you won’t see a problem like this. So if your phone’s LCD is working fine but the led lights are not make sure the brightness in the phone is not set too low.
In Nokia Lumia 520 there are 3 led lights and their power comes from the LCD’s flex cable. So if your phone’s LCD led lights have stopped working I have marked all of their jumper ways in this diagram. Make the jumper from LCD connector to it’s corresponding point and hopefully your problem will be solved.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Speaker Problem Ways Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 speaker also known as ringer or buzzer is placed on the bottom back side of the mobile phones. It is used for listening to music, videos or when you activate loud speaker during the call. It can be damaged from any number of reasons like listening music on full high volume or if your phone is mishandled in some way like dropped.
Replacing the speaker module in Nokia Lumia 520 is pretty strait forward but if the speaker module is okay and you can’t listen to music or ringtones then it might be that the speaker connector springs are damaged. I have marked both of its jumper ways in this diagram.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Touch Screen Not Working Solution

This post is about Nokia Lumia 520 touch screen not working problem solution. If the touch stops working on your phone it can render useless to you so I decided to make this post for those unfortunate people who are having this problem.
Touch panel in Nokia Lumia 520 is not very strong so if too much pressure is put on the phone it can damage the touch screen to the point of it not working at all. If that happens there is no proper way to repair it, you have to buy a new touch panel from the market and replace it with the old one.
If even that does not work then it is possible that your touch panel connector is damaged. The touch panel connector is soldered on the motherboard, change that as well. If by any chance you have damaged the prints of the touch panel I have marked all of its jumper ways in this diagram.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Network Problem Ways Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 network problem is mostly likely caused by the disconnected antenna. If the antenna has a bad connection to the mobile phone’s motherboard it can stop your mobile from getting any signal at all.
Bad connection between antenna and Nokia Lumia 520 motherboard can happen because of a number of reasons. Most likely something like this happens if your mobile phone is dropped or mishandled in any other way.
There are three antenna connector springs on the back side of the motherboard and I have all of their jumper ways in this diagram. Make those jumpers if your mobile phone’s antenna is in working condition but still not getting any signals, hopefully your problem will be solved.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Earpiece Ways Problem Solution

Earpiece or as some people call it speaker is placed on the top front of Nokia Lumia 520. It is used for listening phone calls nothing else. All the other sounds come out of IHF speaker which is placed on the back bottom of the mobile phone. So if you can’t listen to the person on the other end of a phone call unless you open up the loudspeaker option from within the phone, your earpiece is faulty and you need to change it.
Earpieces are fragile parts and any kind of mishandling can cause them to break down. Normally changing Nokia Lumia 520 earpiece is pretty straight forward since it is not soldered on the motherboard all you have to do is remove the old one from the external casing and place a new one in its place. But if that does not work or if your earpiece module is okay but you still can’t listen to a phone call then you are going to have to make the jumpers as shown in this diagram.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 Mic Problem Ways Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 microphone is soldered on the motherboard. Mic is responsible for sending your voice to the person on the other end of a phone call, recording sounds while making videos or simply using voice recording apps. So if the other person can’t listen to your voice during a phone call you are going to have to change the microphone with a new one.
Changing Nokia Lumia 520 mic can be a little tricky. It is soldered on the motherboard so if you remove it remember it’s placing position and put the new microphone the same way the old one was. If you have broken prints of the microphone connection points I have marked all of them in the diagram below.
Please Note that we will edit these solutions or add new ones if found in this page at any time in the future. So feel free to come back any time on this page to stay up to date.

Nokia Lumia 520 LCD Connector Problem Ways Solution

In Nokia Lumia 520 LCD is connected the the motherboard with a flex cable connector. If your LCD is not working, you obviously have to check if a faulty LCD is not causing this problem. If the LCD is okay then check the LCD connector.

Most of the times LCD connectors get damaged because of poorly connecting and disconnecting LCD or if your mobile phone get water damaged they can easily get rusted and as soon as you unplug the LCD they crack.
