Nowadays, Everyone fond of using a good smartphone with decent battery life and faster performance. And how to fix that.
If you are one of those who are experiencing the same problem, then you should follow these 5 simple tips to speed up Android phone. These tricks are very simple and everybody knows, but they never did all at once. We also managed some tips from our last Android performance related articles.
So you must follow all the tips and tricks to enhance your smartphone performance and using experience. Finally, the tricks are —

Disable Animations to speed up Android

Disabling animation is a good and effective option to speed up Android phone.
Steps :
  1. First of all we will need to open settings, then navigate the developer option and tap to open it
  2. In the developer menu, you can see the Windows animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale, Change these options to animation scale 0.5x. You can also choose the animation off option.
If you can’t see the “Developer Option” in the Setting, then what to do?: By default the developer option comes as a hidden feature on some Android phones, that means you will have to unlock it. To unlock the developer option, you will need to go to “about phone” option which can be located under setting menu, here you will have to tap 7 times repeatedly in “Build number”, that’s it. The developer option in now unlocked and you can see it in the settings.

Turn off Widgets

As we know all the running processes on smartphone are responsible for smartphone’s performance and battery backup, and the widget is one of them. So you should remove the unused widgets. As we know, It offers live updates of its related app, and it can also use the Internet. Then you must delete the unused widgets from your screen by dragging it upside. After doing this you can feel extra performance boost in your phone.

Custom Launcher

With the help of Launcher app you can customize your smartphone according to your needs. It can also improve phone’s performance, and we know that there are too many Android launcher apps available in the Play Store that we can download for free. So here we are trying to suggest you the top three launcher apps which are Apex, Nova and Go launcher. You should use apex launcher because it has a very simple user interface, but powerful features.

Background Process

After buying an Android smartphone, you may have to customize it, because I think every smartphone comes pre-loaded with too many bloatwares, exclude google powered phones like Nexus ad some Motorola smartphones. It’s a most recommended to uninstall the app that you don’t want to use. Let’s go to the Background process, In Android the apps are updating itself in the background, so definitely app process runs in the background, and it’s one of the powerful reasons of a phone running slow
Thankfully, the “Developer option” has an option to limit the background process. To decrease the processes, locate the developer options in the settings menu and open it. Now we will have to choose “Background process limit”, select “max 1 or 2 processes”.

Power Off

The too many junk files automatically stored on the phone when you use the Internet. This is why, you must restart your phone at least once a week. The restarting process also cleans the Cache from memory. So develop the habit of rebooting your smartphone.
Extra Tip : You can also use a cache cleaner app like “app cache cleaner” that will help you to delete all the junk files in a single click.

How to Speed up an Android Smartphone

Android smartphones are found almost everywhere, and they range from low to high end smartphones. All of them will slow down with time; this is why it's important to maintain your smartphone's smoothness by following the few easy-to-do steps mentioned in this article.

Steps:-

1
Update your smartphone firmware. The updates fix some bugs, add new features, and other issues that you may not be aware of. Such issues crop up with reasonable frequency, so updating regularly will ensure the optimum performance for your phone.

2
Reset your Android phone. Resetting erases everything and brings your phone back to its original, "as new" condition. This is a temporary option, because as you use your phone again, it will suffer the same behavior again.

3
Back up any important information (such as saved passwords in browser) before taking this step.

4
Check the internal memory space. A low amount of internal memory could be the reason behind any severe lag that your phone is experiencing.
  • Move your media (pictures, mp3 files, videos, and so forth) to the external memory, usually an SD card.
5
Some low-end and mid-range smartphones might already have low internal memory space, in which case, moving your files to the SD card won't help that much.

6
Search the Google Play Store for useful applications. Possible applications that may help include:
  • A good antivirus application: Scans your phone for any possible viruses and malwares. These usually slow down your phone.
  • startup manager: Allows you to stop number of applications from starting up automatically when the phone boots up.
  • 'Juice defender: Gives your phone more battery life by stopping services and applications.
  • app cache cleaner (could be automatic, too): Cleans up some cached data from the internal memory.
  • App2SD: Allows you to move some applications to the SD card (if you have one inserted, and if supported on your phone). This also speeds up the phone.
7
Uninstall unused applications.

8
Restart the phone. This is a temporary option, but it works!

9
Root the phone. Rooting gives you additional options to do with your phone. Although rooting is a risky solution, it is not as risky as it used to be. This mightbrick your phone (i.e., it will malfunction). In addition, a successful root will void your warranty. However, you can always unroot the phone (and you will restore your warranty, as the manufacturers cannot tell if you rooted your phone before or not). Here's a list of things that you can do after rooting your phone:
  • Overclocking your phone processor. This will ultimately speed up your phone, but will eat up more battery juice than before.
  • You can also install a custom ROM. The ROM is basically the version of Android installed on your phone. A custom ROM is not an official one, but some of them are better. While this might solve many of your Android smartphone problems, including lag and having a newer version of Android, it is a very advanced, risky and not a recommended solution, because sometimes the custom ROM might not be stable, or might contain bugs and missing features that are found in the official ROM.
  • The ability to delete unwanted pre-installed applications. In case you wanted to delete some applications, notice two things here:
    • Download a backup application, such as Titanium Backup to back up the application before deleting it (in case you wanted to restore it later).
    • Be careful not to delete any system application, like the launcher or the status bar.
  • Rooting also gives you access to more advanced applications, like root call blockersnormal and notification ads blockers and root memory managers. The root memory manager is usually better than the auto task killer application.

Tips:-

  • Rooting, and installing a custom ROM, are advanced solutions. It is better to try the other options before rooting to see if they help or not. In case you still want to speed up a little more, you may root your phone.
  • A successful root is indicated by the installation of SU (Super User) application. You can also download a root checker from the play store to make sure that you gained root access or not (as sometimes the icon of SU sticks to the applications list after unrooting)
  • A root application that is set on the default settings will not harm an unrooted device. However, if you are not willing to root your phone again, it's better to uninstall the applications to get more memory space.

Warning:-

  • Any root applications should be stopped or uninstalled before unrooting, or else you might have some glitches while operating your phone.
  • Unroot your phone before updating its firmware.
  • Root your phone at your own risk.

How to fix frozen(hang) Android ?
1

2
Try turning your phone off the regular way. Press and hold the Power button on your phone until the Power menu appears. Tap "Power off" to turn the phone off.
  • If this doesn't work, move on to the next step.

  • Most Android devices can be forced to restart by holding the Power and Volume Up buttons for about ten seconds.
  • If Power/Volume Up doesn't work, try Power/Volume Down.
4
Remove the battery if you can't force a restart. If you can't force your device to restart, try removing the battery and then reinserting it. This is only possible on Android devices with removable batteries. If this doesn't fix your problem, move on to the next step.
  • If your Android has a removable battery, you can remove the back cover and then lift the battery out. wait about ten seconds and then reinsert the battery.
5
Delete apps that are causing your phone to freeze. If your phone is freezing whenever you run a certain app, there's a good chance that the app is causing your system to crash. The easiest way to prevent this from continuing is to simply stop using the app and deleting it.

6
Perform a factory reset if your phone won't boot up. If you can't get your phone to turn on after it was frozen, a factory reset may fix your problems. All of the data on your phone will be deleted however.
  • Start with the phone turned off. In order to access Recovery Mode, your Android phone will need to start from a powered-off state.
  • Hold down the Recovery mode buttons. These vary depending on the model phone you have:
    • Nexus, LG, Motorola - Power and Volume Down

  • Continue holding the buttons until the Android boot menu appears.
