The most highlighted feature of the newly launched Windows 10 is Windows 10 cortana. For those who are unfamiliar, Cortana is the digital personal assistant. You can ask her anything like weather updates, sing you song, tell you jokes, send email, change settings and so on.
According to Microsoft,
Cortana is your clever new personal assistant.
Cortana will help you find things on your PC, manage your calendar, track packages, find files, chat with you, and tell jokes. The more you use Cortana, the more personalized your experience will be.
If Cortana is not supported in your country then you have to wait until Microsoft launches Windows 10 cortana in your country, and if you don’t want to be in a queue and want to use it without waiting then you are at a very correct place.
To check if Cortana is available in your region or not, click on the search bar and type “Cortana”. Turn the Cortana feature on, if it is not available you will see “Cortana isn’t supported in the region and language you’ve selected.”
ENABLE WINDOWS 10 CORTANA, IF NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY
Windows 10 Cortana is available only in some countries, if Cortana is not supported in your region then follow this tutorial to use it right now without being in a queue.
Click on “Input method” on the right side of the taskbar, there you will see a list of available input methods. Click on“language preferences”.
A new window will open where you can select your region and language. Select United States in the region section andEnglish (United States) in the language section.
NOW YOU CAN ENABLE CORTANA, TO ENABLE IT-
Search again for Cortana and select “Cortana and search settings”, switch the Cortana On. Sign in with an active Microsoft account or create a new Microsoft account and then you can access all the features of the Windows 10 Cortana. Just say “Hey Cortana”.
